Privacy policy
CasaFlow is careful with your details. To improve our site we measure how it is used, with Cloudflare's analytics and with our own measuring script, which is loaded through this site's own address and sends its measurements that way to our measuring server (api.casaflow.homes). It counts which pages you view, the language of the page and of your browser, which site you came from, the country and town (derived from your IP address) and whether that address belongs to a cloud or hosting network, the kind of device, the browser and the operating system, clicks on WhatsApp or e-mail, whether you tap, type or scroll on the page, and that you sent the request form; never what you wrote in it. To count a visitor once a day without a cookie, we turn your IP address and browser type into a code that changes every day; your IP address itself is not kept. The measurements are stored in a Cloudflare database in the European Union, without a fixed period. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in a site that works.
Only if you click "Accept" do we set one cookie, cf_vid: a random code that stays valid for at most a year, so we can see that you come back. We do that only with your consent; your browser keeps your choice itself (cf_consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time with this button; the cookie is then deleted.
If you email us or fill in the request form, we keep your name, your email address and whatever you send us (the link to your current page or photos of your home, for example), purely to answer your question and, if you want, to build your website.
The request form goes from your browser to CasaFlow's own server at Cloudflare and is stored in CasaFlow's own database in the European Union; we receive it by email at once. It is kept until it is deleted; there is no fixed period. A copy also goes to a spreadsheet at Google, in CasaFlow's account, and for now the email still travels through Google. Google is an American company, so your details may also end up on servers outside the European Economic Area.
We also contact holiday-home owners ourselves by email, with a message about the rental of their home. If you would rather not hear from us, nothing complicated is needed: one reply is enough and you will never hear from us again.
Would you like to know what we hold, or would you rather be left alone? One email to sanne@casaflow.homes is enough. We then put your address on our block list: from that moment you receive nothing from us at all, and the block stays in place permanently. That is precisely why we have to keep your address: without it we cannot guarantee that you are never written to again. We use it for nothing else. You will get a confirmation from us.
To store these details and to send our email we work, like any small business, with a handful of ordinary service providers. They process the data only on our instructions. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for any other purpose.
Our site is hosted with Cloudflare (EU data centres on their global network); the hosting provider's usual technical server logs apply. CasaFlow itself does not read or keep those.
